UCL: Harry Kane reveals what Bellingham told him before his penalty against Real Madrid

Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, has revealed what Jude Bellingham told him before his penalty in his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg 2-2 draw with Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Recall that goals from Kane, Leroy Sane and Vinicius’ brace ensured both teams drew at Allianz Arena.

Bellingham tried his best to put Kane off in the moments leading up to the penalty.

Referee, Clement Turpin even had to push the Real Madrid midfielder away from his England teammate.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the final whistle, Kane explained what Bellingham said to him.

The England captain said: “At the moment I didn’t know what he said. I spoke to him afterwards and he said he told me, ‘I know you are going to go left’, he was trying to tell the keeper.”

He added, “On the pitch I didn’t know [what he said]. I knew he was there, but I just kind of didn’t know what he said.

“I saw the ‘keeper go a bit early and I was able to put it away. Obviously the penalty was nice for me.”
