UCL: Guardiola warns Man City squad about one Real Madrid player

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has insisted he doesn’t fear Real Madrid, but has warned his squad about the threat posed by Jude Bellingham.

Guardiola played Madrid 22 times during his coaching career with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

The Spaniard has enjoyed remarkable wins as well as gut-wrenching defeats.

He will be looking to knock Los Blancos out of the Champions League for the fourth occasion when his side take on Carlo Ancelotti’s side in Wednesday’s quarter-final second leg.

The first leg ended 3-3 at the Bernabeu.

“Always has been and always will be [big],” Guardiola said.

“It’s Real Madrid and in this competition, it is always a big game. It’s special for me. Of course it is.”

On Bellingham, he added: “It is not always easy to settle quick but from the beginning his impact was huge in terms of goals and many other things.”
