UCL: Bayern Munich take decision on Tuchel’s sack before Arsenal clash

Bayern Munich have decided not to sack manager Thomas Tuchel, before they travel to play Arsenal in a Champions League quarter-final tie next Tuesday.

The Bundesliga champions threw away a two-goal lead on Saturday to lose 3-2 to Heindeheim.

The result means Bayer Leverkusen will be champions if they win one more game.

Although Tuchel is already confirmed to depart at the end of this season, Bayern could have still fire him before then.

However, the club’s directors have decided not to, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Romano tweeted: “Bayern will not sack Thomas Tuchel with immediate effect despite today’s defeat.

“Both directors Freund and Eberl have confirmed that Tuchel will regularly sit on Bayern’s bench against Arsenal.”
