UCL: AC Milan hail ‘Naija Stars’ after win at Newcastle United

AC Milan have recognized the impact of Samuel Chukwueze and the club’s Nigerian-born stars in their 2-1 victory against Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

Chukwueze, Noah Okafor and Fikayo Tomori made a positive impact in the victory at St James’ Park.

Okafor set up his fellow substitute, Chukwueze for the game’s winning goal six minutes from time.

Centre-back, Fikayo Tomori also posted a solid showing in the keenly contested encounter.

Chukwueze has now scored twice in Europe for the Serie A giants this season.

Okafor’s father is from Nigeria, while his mother is Swiss. The forward has, however, opted to represent Switzerland at the international level.

Tomori’s parents are from Nigeria, but he has opted to play for England.
