U-20 WWCQ: Falconets lands in Dar es Salaam

The Falconets of Nigeria arrived in Dar es Salaam on Saturday for the first leg of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Tanzania.

The team, comprised of 19 players, technical crew members, and officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), made the trip to Dar es Salaam for the third-round contest.

Chris Danjuma’s side will be up against the Tanzanian girls at the Azam Sports Complex on Sunday.

Eswatini referee Letticia Antonnela Viana will officiate the match.

Vianna will be assisted by her compatriots, Patricia Mkaliph (assistant referee 1) and Siphiwayikosi Nxumalo (assistant referee 2).

The reverse fixture is scheduled for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, next week.

The Falconets have played at every edition of the U-20 World Cup since its inception in 2002.
