Flamingos head coach Bankole Olowookere has admitted that much is expected from his team at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian girls are currently in Santo Domingo preparing for the competition.
Olowookere’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Mexico in a friendly game on Monday.
The Flamingos finished third at the last edition of the competition hosted by India.
Much will be expected from the team this time around and the gaffer stated he will prepare his players for the task ahead.
“We know expectations are high, and my technical crew and I are working hard to prepare the girls to handle that pressure,”Olowookore told Brila FM.
