Eight countries have qualified for the quarterfinals of the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
This follows the conclusion of Wednesday’s round of 16 fixtures.
France and Uzbekistan are the latest countries to book their place in the Last-8 after beating Senegal and England, respectively.
France defeated Senegal 5-3 via penalty shootout after the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Uzbekistan, meanwhile, defeated England 2-1.
The two countries have now joined Mali, Morocco, Spain, Germany, Brazil and Argentina in the quarterfinals stage.
The Last-8 will commence on Friday.
