Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho took a swipe at Bright Osayi-Samuel following his side’s 2-0 win over Bodrum FK.
Osayi-Samuel was in action for the entire duration of the game.
The Yellow Canaries ended a three-game winless streak following the victory.
The Nigeria international opted to go for glory instead of passing to a better-positioned teammate in this first half.
Mourinho expressed disappointment with the defender’s display.
“I’m happy for the three points, but it was sad that we couldn’t create and capitalise on so many chances,” Mourinho was quoted by Kontraspor.
“We scored a goal from a rebound. Irfan Can Kahveci’s volley was nice, and Osayi-Samuel had a position in the first half, but he was selfish there. We could have finished the match in the first half, but we couldn’t.”
