Manuel Ugarte has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for their Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre.
The 23-year-old is being linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.
It now appears a move is close, with Ugarte not part of PSG’s 20-man squad for Saturday’s clash.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United are locked in negotiations with PSG and the deal is still “absolutely on”.
Ugarte arrived from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of around £51 million ($66m), a similar amount to what PSG is now demanding from his suitors.
However, United have so far been reluctant to meet that asking price which has seen the transfer stall.
