Augustine Okejepha is on the verge of dumping Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Rivers United, for a move abroad.
According to reports, the midfielder is attracting the interest of Russian side, FC Ural.
FC Ural are understood to have established contact with Rivers United for the defensive midfielder.
Okejepha impressed during Rivers United’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign this season.
He has also been one of the standout performers for the Port Harcourt club in the NPFL.
Okejepha joined Rivers United at the beginning of the season from Kano Pillars.
DAILY POST also gathered that Tanzania side Simba SC and Club Africain of Tunisia are also in the race to sign the Kaduna-born youngster.
