Transfer: Odey extends Randers contract until 2025

Nigeria forward Stephen Odey has signed a contract extension with Danish Superliga side, Randers FC.

Odey is contracted to the club until 2025.

The 25-year-old said extending the contract is an opportunity for him to further develop his game.

“It feels really good to have extended my contract with the team. I know the boys well by now, and they know me, so it felt completely natural to stay at Randers FC. It’s a club I feel incredibly good at, both with fans, players and staff,” he told the club’s official website.

“We have a really strong camaraderie in the team, and it feels like being part of a family. I am sure that we can achieve good results together, and I look forward to what we can accomplish together in the next time.”

Odey joined Randers on a season-long loan deal from Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk in August 2021.

The deal was made permanent three months later.
