Nigeria striker, Anthony Nwakaeme has rejoined Turkish Super Lig outfit, Trabzonspor, DAILY POST reports.
The Black Sea Storm announced Nwakaeme’s return on their official media channels.
The 34-year-old left Trabzonspor on a free transfer in 2022 to pitch tent with Saudi Arabia Professional Football club, Al Fayha.
During his first spell at the club, the powerful forward registered 47 goals and 40 assists in 145 matches.
Nwakaeme helped Trabzonspor win the league title in the 2021/22 season.
He made 55 appearances for Al Fayha with 15 goals and eight assists to his name.
The former Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel player is also returning to Trabzonspor as a free agent following expiration of his two-year contract at Al Fayha.
Trabzonspor finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
