Manchester City on Friday confirmed the signing of Japan international Aoba Fujino on a three-year deal.
Fujino will join up with her new Man City teammates at the inaugural Perth International Football Cup later this month after the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The 20-year-old forward will wear the number 20 shirt.
She is a two-time winner of the WE League Valuable Player Award during her three seasons with Tokyo Verdy Beleza.
Speaking after joining Man City, Fujino said:
“This is a very big club with a lot of history, so I’m really excited to come here.”
