Manchester United and Liverpool are keen to battle each other for the signing of Rennes defender Adrien Truffert.
According to L’Equipe, both Premier League clubs are interested in signing
Truffert.
Truffertt impressed at the Paris 2024 Olympics and started five of France’s six games.
The left-back also featured regularly in Europe over the last few years.
Meanwhile, in another development, Chelsea on Tuesday announced that forward Aimee Claypole has joined Swedish side Linkoping on a short-term loan until December.
In a statement on their website, the Blues said the 18-year-old will join up with Linkoping until late this year.
“Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Aimee every success during her time in Sweden, and we look forward to seeing her continued development,” Chelsea’s statement read.
