Transfer: Inter Milan in talks with Udinese for Okoye

Serie A champions, Inter Milan are in talks with Udinese to sign goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

Okoye, according to Sky Sport transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, is high on Inter Milan’s wish-list.

The Nerazzurri are keen to get the deal done this summer.

Inter are in search of a younger goalkeeper to be the heir to current first choice, Yann Sommer.

Okoye moved to Udinese last summer and after warming the bench in the early part of the season, he became the club’s first choice goalkeeper.

The Nigerian played a pivotal role in the Zebras relegation survival.

The 24-year-old, who has three years remaining on his contract, made 22 appearances across all competitions for Fabio Cannavaro’s side last season.
