Transfer: I didn’t want Napoli to decide my future – Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has reflected on his decision to join Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray in the summer.

Osimhen stated he wouldn’t let anyone decide his future.

The Nigeria international linked up with Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal after negotiations with Chelsea and Al-Ahli had failed.

The 25-year-old stated that he was prepared to stay at Napoli until January before he was contacted by Galatasaray.

“I had plans to stay there and wait for three or four months and leave in January, but I think for me it was fair also to stay there because I wouldn’t let anyone decide for me,” Osimhen told Turkish media at the Galatasaray training centre.
