Transfer insider Ben Jacobs has reckoned that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could be heading to Arsenal in the summer.
According to him, the Gunners can compete with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea for the Super Eagles star’s signature.
The Nigerian international would be leaving the club next season as the Serie A champions have confirmed.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Osimhen, but there is a belief Mikel Arteta’s side cannot afford his services compared to PSG and Chelsea.
But Jacobs, a transfer specialist, believes that the Gunners can afford to sign the striker.
“We still can’t rule out Arsenal in the race for Osimhen,” he told Givenesports.
“It’s also true that PSG has Osimhen very, very high on their list of targets and can move in the market because they will free up money due to Kylian Mbappe’s departure.
“I’m still told by sources that Osimhen’s priority is the Premier League, which is encouraging for Chelsea and Arsenal. He would be looking for about £250,000 per week, which Arsenal, Chelsea, and PSG would all be happy to pay.”
