Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is close to signing for Fiorentina.
De Gea has been without a club since he left Old Trafford at the end of his contract in June 2023.
The Spaniard has turned down a few offers since then but is now set to move to Serie A.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: ” Fiorentina are closing in on David de Gea deal, just waiting for Spanish GK confirmation to book medical tests.
“One year contract plus option for further season around €3m net salary per season. Almost there.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are eyeing Chelsea’s teenage full-back Josh Acheampong.
The 18-year-old, who is also attracting attention from Paris Saint-Germain, would reportedly command a fee in the region of £12.9m (€15m).
Acheampong made his senior debut in May as a substitute in the closing minutes of a home win over Tottenham.
Madrid and PSG view him as a capable deputy for first-choice options Dani Carvajal and Achraf Hakimi, respectively.
