Transfer: Australian club, Perth Glory snaps up Super Falcons defender

Australian side, Perth Glory has announced the signing of Super Falcons defender, Onyinyechi Zogg.

Zogg joined the club’s A-League Women’s squad for the 2024/25 season.

The 27-year-old brings a wealth of European experience having represented Young Boys, FC Zurich and Servette FC Chenois in Switzerland, ASJ Soyaux in France and German side Turbine Potsdam, as well as FC Bethlehem in Israel.

The centre-back is looking forward to opening a new chapter at the club.

“Once my manager told me about the possibility of going to Perth Glory, I jumped at the opportunity,” Zogg told the club’s official website.

“I have heard so much about the quality and level of the ALW and always wanted to experience it and now to be able to do this with Perth Glory is such a fantastic opportunity.
