Transfer: Arteta begs Nigerian-born striker to stay at Arsenal

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is desperate for Chido Martin-Obi to remain with the Premier League club.

The 16-year-old has shown his stunning talent with an incredible goalscoring streak in the U18 Premier League.

He scored a whopping 29 goals in just 17 appearances and has made two appearances in the Premier League 2 despite his young age.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are believed to be interested in Chido Obi-Martin.

And according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Twitter: “Understand Arsenal have now improved their offer to Chido Obi Martin to keep him at the club.

“Arteta, also pushing for him to stay.
