Tobi Amusan to start Diamond League title defence in China

Nigeria’s track queen, Tobi Amusan will kick off her Diamond League campaign in China in January, 2024.

Amusan has won the Diamond League crown three times in a row.

The Wanda Diamond League has unveiled the schedule for the 2024 season.

The organisers also detailed which events will take place at various meetings throughout the year.

Elites athletes from around the world will participate in 15 meetings across four continents.

Action will begin in Xiamen, China on April 20.

Amusan will participate in the women’s 100m hurdles event.

The 26-year-old made history in September 2023 by securing her third consecutive Diamond League 100m hurdles title, joining the ranks of legendary athletes like Dawn Harper.
