Real Madrid legend, Zinedine Zidane has named the three players who impressed him the most during his spell as manager of the club.
The three players are Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
Zidane hailed the trio’s ability to keep the ball consistently for long periods in a game.
Recall that Zidane first managed Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018.
The Frenchman won three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles, along with winning multiple other trophies for the Los Blancos.
He returned to Madrid in 2019 for two years and won the La Liga title and the Supercopa de Espana.
Zidane was recently asked to name the player who impressed him the most during his time as manager of the club.
He answered (via Madrid Xtra): “Players who impressed me the most as a coach? When you see Kroos, Modrić and Benzema playing for you for an hour without losing a single ball, that is football.”
