The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, says it has restored the national grid after it collapsed earlier on Monday.
The grid was said to have collapsed at about 1.49 pm on Monday.
But TCN said everything was now normal as it restored the grid and electricity to most parts of the country, except for the Jos axis.
For Jos in Plateau State where electricity is yet to be restored, TCN pledged that things will also normalise within one hour of issuing the statement.
“The grid experienced a collapse today. Presently, supply has been restored except for the Jos axis, which will soon have supply within the hour.
“The collapse happened by 1.49 pm on Tuesday and it is now fully restored,” Mbah said in the statement.
