Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie is delighted with her inclusion in the 2023 CAF Women’s Team of the Year.
Alozie made the selection alongside two of her Super Falcons teammates, Asisat Oshoala and Osinachi Ohale.
The right-back had an impressive outing for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The 26-year-old also enjoyed a remarkable season with her National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side, Houston Dash.
Alozie celebrated her inclusion on social media.
“Best XI 2023…. truly an honor. a year of firsts; the super falcons are special!!!” she wrote on her official X handle.
