Super Eagles: Adepoju stakes claim for coaching job

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju says he is open to coaching the team, DAILY POST reports.

The position is currently vacant following Finidi George’s resignation a few weeks ago.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is currently looking for an expatriate to tinker the Super Eagles.

Adepoju, who holds a UEFA Pro coaching license has, however, said he will be willing to manage the team.

“We had several players in the Castilla team who are brilliant coaches today, and we didn’t see it at the time.

“I have a UEFA Pro license myself, so if there’s an opportunity, I wouldn’t mind,” the former Real Sociedad midfielder said Managing Madrid Podcast.
