Akwa United forward, Sani Suleiman has won the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for March.
Suleiman scored five goals in the month to increase his tally to six.
The striker only joined Akwa United during the mid-season transfer window.
He beat Christian Pyagbara, Nenrot Silas, Adams Olamilekan, Godwin Obaje and Ejike Ugochukwu to the award.
Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu won the Coach of the Month award.
Ilechukwu claimed the award for the first time this season after numerous nominations.
In the month under review, the Flying Antelopes cruised to three wins and two draws, scoring seven goals and conceding three.
Rangers also climbed to top position on the table.
They are currently on a 10-game unbeaten run in the league.
Rangers currently occupy the top position with 51 points from 28 games.
