Stay clear of Kano NNPP, Kwankwasiyya crisis – APC chieftain cautions Tinubu

As the Kano New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, crisis deepens with two House of Representatives members, Ali Madakin Gini and Alhassan Rirum, leaving the Kwankwasiyya Movement, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu against interfering in the matter.

The admonition followed a meeting between Tinubu and the Leader of the Kwankwasiyya, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The meeting was said to have been initiated by Kwankwaso.

Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday, said, “We are aware of a meeting between President Tinubu and Kwankwaso, today early in the morning, and even pictures of Kwankwaso was not allowed to be taken at the Presidency, we are suspicious of the meeting.

“Kwankwaso must have rushed to President Tinubu in jittery of the fact that his top allies are gradually jilting him. The President should know that Kwankwaso should not be trusted.
