The Nigeria Premier Football League has announced a new date for the matchday 13 rescheduled fixture involving Sporting Lagos and Rivers United.
The game which was initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, will now be played on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
The encounter is billed for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
Both teams will be meeting for the first time in the history of the NPFL.
DAILY POST reports that the game was moved from the initial date due to the Super Eagles Africa Cup of Nations semi-final match in Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria will lock horns against South Africa at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.
