Sodiq beat experienced striker Sikiru Alimi, Jide Fatokun and goalkeeper Kayode Bankole to the award.
The right-back tops the assist chart in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League.
The defender has recorded five assists in six games this season.
Sodiq won the award last month as he was also nominated for the NPFL Player of the Month.
He has contributed immensely to the progress of Remo Stars this season.
Remo Stars recorded three wins, one draw and two defeats in the month.
The Sky Blue Stars are second on the table with 23 points from 12 matches.
