Sunshine Stars have completed the signing of Sodiq Tunde from Nigeria National League side, Ekiti United, DAILY POST reports.
Sodiq joined the Owena Waves on a short-term deal that will keep him at the club till the end of the 2023-24 NPFL season.
The bulky forward netted nine times for Ekiti United in the NNL last season.
Sodiq has also proved his goal-scoring prowess with seven goals this campaign.
His arrival will boost Sunshine Stars’ lack of goals in the second stanza of the season.
Sunshine Stars are four points above the relegation zone with 22 points.
The second stanza of the NPFL will kick-start on February 14, 2024.
