Ahead of the commencement of the second round of the 2023/24 season, Shooting Stars has completed the signing of five new players.
The Oluyole Warriors confirmed the recruitment of free-agent and former Golden Eaglets player, Alimi Sunday, as well as Jimoh Oni, who is joining the team from Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Inter Lagos and Hadi Mohammed from Akwa United of Uyo.
Others are Adewale Yusuf from Lobi Stars and left Back, Ehibe Victor who completes the list of the new additions.
The recruitment is to ensure an improved performance in the second stanza of the league.
Meanwhile, the Ibadan warlords have also confirmed the release of six players from the team.
Top on the list is striker, Kareem Ademola, who has secured a deal abroad, Anayor Ogbonna, and goalkeeper, Ovunda Darlington.
Others are striker, Emeka Obiora, winger, Michael Eneruna and center back, Ezeala Uche who has teamed up with Rangers International.
Shooting Stars currently occupy 11th position on the table.
They will face Enyimba in Aba when the second round resumes later in the week.
