No fewer than seven persons lost their lives in a road accident that occurred along the Iseyin -Ibadan road, in Oyo State, on Thursday.
It was gathered that the accident involved two vehicles.
DAILY POST gathered that some other passengers also sustained various degrees of injuries in the accident.
Acting Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) David Tunde Adewale confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Friday.
Adewale in a telephone conversation with DAILY POST said that 22 people were involved in the accident.
He said “It is true, seven people died; 22 people were involved.
“Two vehicles were involved in the accident. 16 people were taken to the hospital.”
