Serie A: Juventus to terminate Pogba’s contract despite reduction of doping ban

Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, is in talks with the Serie A club over the termination of his contract.

According to Mail Sport, Pogba’s second stint with the Italian giants is set to end.

This comes after the Frenchman’s initial four year doping ban was reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to just 18 months on Friday.

This means the 31-year-old can resume playing competitive football in March.

Pogba can also restart training in January.

But Pogba is likely to continue his career away from Juventus, with the expectation that he will reach a mutual agreement with the Turin club to cut his contract, which expires in June 2026, short.
