Palmeiras manager, Abel Ferreira has insisted that Brazilian sensation, Willian Estêvão must not be allowed to leave the club.
The 17-year-old has caught the attention of clubs in Europe after just five matches with the Brazil Serie A side.
Also known as Messinho or Estêvão, the teenager plays as a winger for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Palmeiras, which is managed by Portuguese boss, Ferreira.
“I’ll ask our president Leila not to sell Willian Estêvão. Let his father, his agent, the boy be sad… let him stay with us until 2027.” The former Portuguese footballer told reporters.
“Trust me, this boy is something different. Estêvão is just something I’ve never seen in my career.”
