Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini has kind words for Ademola Lookman after the Nigerian played a key role in the club’s 3-2 victory against AC Milan on Saturday night.
Lookman scored a brace in the encounter played at the Gewiss Stadium.
The 26-year-old scored La Dea’s first and second goals of the game.
The brace increased his tally to six for the season.
Gasperini was particularly delighted with the winger’s performance in the thrilling game.
“He never did anything, then! Lookman cannot play every game like tonight, or he’d be amazing, but he is doing very well this season,” the gaffer said after the game.
“He has some dips and troughs, but that is normal. What he must learn from this group is to share the same spirit, determination and realise when it’s not your day, then you have to work for the team.”
