AC Milan manager, Paulo Fonseca says Samuel Chukwueze is getting better with more games, reports DAILY POST.
The Nigeria international struggled to make a positive impact at the San Siro last season following his arrival from Spanish club, Villarreal.
Chukwueze has, however, impressed in Milan’s first two pre-season games against Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The winger bagged two assists against Manchester City.
The 25-year-old scored his side’s winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Real Madrid on Thursday morning.
“Chukwuze is more confident. Last season he didn’t play much,” Fonseca was quoted by Goal.
“When a new coach arrives it’s always like this, the players want to show off. I’m happy for Chukwueze, he’s doing very well.”
