Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has eulogised Leon Balogun for his contributions at the club.
Balogun, who joined the Gers for a second stint last summer, signed a contract extension on Saturday.
The Nigerian will now remain at Ibrox until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Clement praised the veteran centre-back for his impact on and off the pitch.
“I am delighted Leon has signed a contract extension with the club to remain as a crucial part of our squad next season.
“In my time here so far, I have witnessed first-hand the impact he has not only on the pitch but off the pitch too with his valuable experience.
“He is a talented defender, who brings a lot of qualities to the group, and I look forward to continuing to work with him next season.”
