Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed, has approved the immediate payment of N10,000 wage award to all categories of civil servants in the state.
The Head of Civil Service, Yahuza Haruna, said in a statement signed by Mohammed Sani Umar, Permanent Secretary, Establishment, that the move is meant to provide civil servants with additional resources to celebrate Eid el-Kabir amidst the challenging economic situation.
He commended the governor for his support, which enabled the state workforce to perform their duties more efficiently.
He also called on the workers to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by dedicating themselves to their duties.
