Rivers United threaten to quit NPFL

Rivers United have threatened to quit the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Pride of Rivers made this known in a memo sent to the Nigeria Football Federation.

The former NPFL champions sighted unfair treatment by the NPFL for their actions

Rivers United will lock horns with Remo Stars in one of their rescheduled games on Monday.

The games were postponed following the Port Harcourt’s club’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup

The NPFL has been suspended for one week to allow Stanley Eguma’s side complete the outstanding fixtures.
