Reps Deputy Speaker calls for collaborative efforts to advance Abia’s development

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has called for collaborative efforts from all citizens for the development of Abia State.

He maintained that it is through collective wisdom and shared commitment to progress that Abia can overcome its challenges and actualize a brighter future.

Kalu spoke in an address at a civic reception organized in his honour by the Abia State Government on Friday, at International Conference Center, Umuahia, the state capital.

He said,”It is rooted in the belief that quality governance transcends political affiliations and that for Abia to flourish, we must all unite, regardless of party lines.

“I must assert that my leadership philosophy revolves around the idea that we can only impact well when we partner well.

“Irrespective of political affiliations, I firmly believe that every leader, whether in the opposition or the ruling party, has a role to play in the development of our beloved state.”

The deputy speaker lauded the dedication of the present government in Abia State to the wellbeing of the people.

“I must express my admiration for Governor Alex Otti on his patriotic mindset.

“Your dedication to the well-being of Abians and your commitment to the nation at large set a commendable standard.
