Sporting Lagos forward, Jonathan Alukwu, has revealed that the club’s supporters are his motivation.
Alukwu currently tops the goalscorers chat for the club with four goals.
He said scoring goals is the only way of showing appreciation for the fans support.
Alukwu will be hoping to add to his goal tally during the matchday eight fixture against league leaders Lobi Stars at the Lafia City Stadium.
“I feel very happy to always be on the scoresheet for the club,” he told DAILY POST in Lagos.
“The club fans have always been my motivation. When I see them, I just always want to make sure they are happy.
“By so doing, scoring and helping the team get the three points.
“It’s always a challenge scoring goals against top sides in the Nigeria Premier Football League.”
