Rap will never be at peace, there’ll always be competition – Drake

Hip-hop star Drake has said the rap music industry will never be peaceful.

According to him, there would always be competition in hip-hop, stressing that as long as there is competition there will never be peace.

The Canadian rapper, who is currently on tour, displayed the statement on his message board on tour.

The statement read, “The rap game will never be at peace. There will always be competition. And as long as there’s competition, there will never be peace. Everyone wants to be the one.”

DAILY POST recalls that J. Cole recently tendered a public apology to Kendrick Lamar for dissing him on ‘7 Minute Drill,’ saying “he fell off like the Simpsons” after Lamar dissed Cole and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song, ‘Like That,’ which featured him.

J. Cole said he regrets his action, stressing that he shouldn’t have downplayed Lamar’s catalogue and “greatness” like that.

He described the diss track as the “lamest sh*t” he has ever done in his entire life.

Meanwhile, Drake is yet to officially respond to Kendrick Lamar’s diss.
