Rangers get trio boost for Katsina United clash

Rangers trio, Kalu Nweke, Chinemerem Ugwueze and Naziru Auwalu are set to return for the club’s Nigeria Premier Football League matchday nine encounter against Katsina United.

Both Nweke and Ugwueze are making a return to the team after an injury layoff.

Auwalu returned to the team after the burial of his mother.

Rangers’ media officer, Nobert Okolie disclosed that the trio participated in the team’s training and are in line to be selected for the encounter.

“Kalu Nweke and Chinemerem Ugwueze, who have missed almost half of the already prosecuted matches due to various injuries sustained while defending the club’s colours, are fit for selection for this weekend’s fixture,” he stated.

“Auwalu, who has been missing in action due to the sudden death of his loving mother late last month and traveled to join other family members to give her a befitting burial, returned to training and is showing signs of fitness to make the club’s supporters proud in the remaining fixtures of the season.”
