Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu claimed Chidera Ezeh and Michael Ibe can’t derail his side’s chances of claiming an away win against Katsina United.
Ezeh and Ibeh are former players of the Flying Antelopes.
Both players left the Coal City outfit at the expiration of their contracts to team up with Katsina United.
Rangers will host Katsina United on Sunday at the Awka City Stadium.
Ilechukwu expressed confidence in his team’s ability to tame the duo.
“It’s an advantage to Katsina United as they think the players knows a lot about Rangers,” he told the club’s media.
“To us everywhere is home for us, as its always difficult to have players in the opposition team, Chidera is a good boy as I coached him during my day’s in Heartland.
“Everything that have an advantage also have a disadvantage.”
DAILY POST recalled that Rangers defeated Katsina United 1-0 in the same fixture during the 2021-22 season.
Chukwuebuka Okorie scored for the hosts in the 57th minute of the entertaining encounter at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
