Rangers begin plans for next season’s CAF Champions league

Nigeria Premier Football League club Rangers have begun plans for a successful continental outing next season.

The Flying Antelopes won the 2023-24 NPFL title after victory over Bendel Insurance on Sunday.

Rangers will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season.

The eight times NPFL champions management, alongside the teams’ technical crew had a meeting at the club secretariat on Monday to fine tune strategy for the new campaign.

“Technical/ Scouting meeting of Rangers taking place at the Boardroom of the corporate office of the club ahead of next season’s CAF Champions League,” the club wrote on their X.

DAILY POST recalls that Rangers last played in the CAF Champions League in 2017.

They were knocked out in the first round of the competition by Egyptian giants, Zamalek.
