Protests: Karu Local Government Council imposes curfew

Karu Local Government Council in Nasarawa State has imposed a night curfew from 6 pm to 6 am, effective immediately.

This is in response to rising security concerns within the state.

The announcement was made by the Executive Chairman, Hon. James B. Thomas (Jarumin Kodape) on Thursday.

According to the Chairman, the curfew will restrict movement for all individuals, including motorcyclists, tricycle riders, shop owners, and motorists.

The statement signed by the SSA on Media and Publicity, Danbaba Uba Magaji, stated that the curfew will remain in effect until further notice.
