President Bola Tinubu has said that he understands the pains and frustrations Nigerians are passing through.
President Tinubu stated this on Sunday in Abuja during his nationwide live broadcast in response to the #EndBadGovernance protest which started on August 1.
He called on the protesters, mostly the youths, to shun violence and destruction of both public and private property, adding that such would tear the country apart.
“My dear Nigerians, especially our youths, I have heard you loud and clear. I understand the pain and frustration that drive these protests, and I want to assure you that our government is committed to listening and addressing the concerns of our citizens.
“But we must not let violence and destruction tear our nation apart. We must work together to build a brighter future, where every Nigerian can live with dignity and prosperity,” he said.
