Protest: Bwala looking for Onanuga’s job, Tinubu’s speech didn’t leak – Atiku’s ex-aide

Phrank Shaibu, a former spokesman of the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has accused Daniel Bwala of attempting to become President Bola Tinubu’s mouthpiece.

Shaibu said, contrary to Bwala’s claim, Tinubu’s Sunday speech was not leaked because such address goes through a process.

Shortly after Tinubu addressed Nigerians in the wake of the EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest, Bwala had claimed that the president’s speech was leaked before he presented it.

However, Shaibu posted on X: “@BwalaDaniel, the speech wasn’t leaked, numbskull! I see your sneaky attempt to land a spokesman gig. Presidential speeches go to editors with a “do not disturb” sign until showtime.

“The premature release of the speech to Nigerians blatantly illustrates the dwindling confidence of the media in this administration …and here you’re yammering about sabotage… by who?
