Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has promised an explosive encounter against Kwara United in the President Federation Cup Round of 16 fixture.
Njoku said the team had adequately prepared for the match.
Abia Warriors and Kwara United will clash at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Wednesday.
“Since the competition started, we have been facing smaller clubs but the pairing against an NPFL side is definitely going to be a big game for us,” he told Abia Warriors media.
“With the kind of form the team is in now, I believe we will definitely come out victorious. Facing some of Abia Warriors former players at Kwara United is going to be a big reunion but it is going to be a surprise to them that our team have changed since they left.”
