President Federation Cup: NFF announces new venue for grand finale

The 2024 President Federation Cup will now take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

The grand finale was earlier scheduled to hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, announced on Sunday that it has now moved the final to the good old venue on Lagos Island, which hosted the final of the competition consecutively between 1945 and 1972.

The Mobolaji Johnson Arena last hosted the final of the President Federation Cup in 1972.

This year’s grand finale will see Rivers Angels confront Naija Ratels in the women’s event, while Abia Warriors take on El-Kanemi Warriors in the men’s event.

The winner of the men’s final will represent Nigeria in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
